HumanGood Affordable Housing partners with Pine Park Health

October 26, 2022 -- As HumanGood’s affordable housing presence continues to grow, so does the resident service programming. HumanGood is thrilled to announce that its partnership with Pine Park Health is expanding to Affordable Housing. Pine Park is a primary care facility that provides weekly medical services for enrolled residents. The partnership originally began in 2021 with two HumanGood life plan communities in Northern California: The Terraces at Los Altos and The Terraces of Los Gatos.

The ongoing collaboration has had a tremendous impact on residents with mobility limitations, as these one-on-one medical services are provided in the comfort of their homes. The implementation of Pine Park within HumanGood’s affordable housing communities started in July 2022 with help from HumanGood’s senior vice president of experience, Lisa Holland and vice president of resident services, Linda Coleman.

Currently, Broadmoor Plaza in the Bay Area is utilizing Pine Park’s services. “We hope to eventually expand this opportunity to more affordable housing communities,” states resident services supervisor Donna Griggs-Murphy. “Pine Park offers such an innovative and creative approach to medical services and we have noticed our residents’ appreciation for it.”

The resident services team is hopeful that this will set a precedent for healthcare and quality of life in other affordable housing communities as it continues to evolve.
