HumanGood names new vice president of marketing

Suzanne NagelSuzanne Nagel has joined the HumanGood team as vice president of marketing.

In this role, Nagel will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing development and execution of marketing on behalf of HumanGood’s 18 life plan communities (also known as continuing care retirement communities).  She joins the organization with more than 25 years of experience in consumer marketing and brand management across a wide range of industries.

“In looking for the right person for this role, I was seeking an individual who can help us grow our new brand, deepen our understanding of the consumers we serve and, perhaps most importantly, take full advantage of the online and other digital tools that are key to marketing success today,” says Dan Hutson, chief strategy officer at HumanGood. “Suzanne meets these requirements perfectly.”

As executive director of marketing at Edmunds.com, Nagel helped grow that brand into the top automotive research and shopping website, with 18 million unique visitors per month. In her previous role as senior director of marketing and consumer insights at eHarmony.com, she played a key marketing leadership role in growing the company from $15 million in revenue to more than $250 million.

Most recently, Nagel had consulted on a variety of advertising, brand development and consumer research projects for Nerdwallet.com, ZipRecruiter.com and MGA Entertainment. She received her master’s degree in business administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University.
