HumanGood partners with Walmart to provide free health care services

October 2, 2024 -- HumanGood is proud to have collaborated with Walmart to provide free health care services to nearly 200 residents and team members at nine senior housing communities across the Philadelphia region. This successful event resulted in a direct healthcare cost savings of over $89,000.

Services offered include free blood pressure and BMI screenings, pharmacist consultations and immunizations. Pennsylvania state representative Amen Brown joined HumanGood and Walmart leadership at Riverside Presbyterian Apartments to encourage residents to participate in the event.

“The housing and services we offer are designed to support those we serve, their families and our team members in the pursuit of an engaged, purposeful life,” said LaToya Belton, lead resident services supervisor, “Collaboration with partners, like Walmart, is essential in helping our residents thrive.”

Having these health services provided right at their front door allows our residents to live their best lives, however they define it.
