Introducing our executive directors for Hillside and Terraces of Phoenix

Stephanie Cook joins Hillside and Mariele “Em” Soriano continues supporting the Terraces of Phoenix.

We are pleased to announce our two executive directors who recently joined the organization.

Stephanie Cook is our new executive director at Hillside. Stephanie has worked in non-profit senior living for more than ten years with Pacific Retirement Services, including two life plan communities in Portland, OR. 

She has a BA in healthcare administration and an MBA in healthcare management. Stephanie, her husband Chris, her son Gage (13) and her Wheaton Terrier named Irish (5) have lived in Dundee, OR., for the past three years. 

Mariele “Em” Soriano was promoted to the executive director role at the Terraces of Phoenix. She will continue serving as health services administrator for our Village Health Center until her replacement is hired next spring.

She started her career at Friendship Village of Tempe, where she was the life enhancement coordinator for 11 years. After serving as an administrator at Sierra Winds for six years, Em took on the role of executive director at a California life plan community before returning to Arizona.
