Management agreement approved for HumanGood and Living Care Retirement Community affiliation

June 22, 2021 -- In late April, HumanGood and Living Care Retirement Community (Living Care) announced that we are coming together in an affiliation to inspire more seniors to live their best lives possible.

We are happy to share that the Washington Department of Social and Health Services has formally approved our management agreement. This means that HumanGood will assume management over Living Care Retirement Community as of June 22, 2021. This is an important step in our process to bring our two organizations together and we continue to expect state regulators to approve our affiliation agreement later this summer.

In the meantime, our Living Care Retirement Community and HumanGood teams will continue working together to coordinate the steps we will need to take to integrate our operations. We expect this work to continue into 2022.
