Rydal Park & Waters commemorates 50 years of senior living excellence in greater Philadelphia

August 29, 2024 – Rydal Park & Waters, a HumanGood life plan community, is proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking a half-century of unwavering dedication to creating an enriching environment where residents can thrive and continue to live their best lives. 

"Our golden jubilee celebration is a testament to the dedication of our team members, as well as the support of our residents and their families,” said Andrea Gibson, executive director at Rydal Park & Waters. "For 50 years, we have had the privilege to serve and support older adults in the greater Philadelphia area as they continue to live their lives with freedom and independence.  As we commemorate this anniversary, Rydal Park & Waters reaffirms our commitment to providing exceptional care, fostering a vibrant community for our residents and future residents and giving back to the greater Montgomery County community.”

To commemorate this milestone, Rydal Park & Waters has planned a series of celebratory events throughout the anniversary year for residents, families and team members to come together and reflect on the past five decades of accomplishments and milestones.

Gibson added, “We are so proud that we have been an integral fabric of the Montgomery County community for more than five decades.  With the help of team members and residents, we have made an enormous impact on our greater community including, but not limited to, hosting countless food campaigns for local food cupboards, Toys for Tots drop offs, voting polls, ongoing book donations to Abington Library, providing venue space for hundreds of area artists, authors and educators to showcase their talents, and financially supporting LGBTQ+ events, League of Women Voters, local nature centers and the Abington Community Taskforce.”
