HumanGood is pleased to announce that Sharell Shippen has accepted the position of director of spirituality. Sharell previously served as the director of faith-based ministry for Presby’s Inspired Life prior to the affiliation with HumanGood.
In her new role, she will promote HumanGood’s person-centered care philosophy while ensuring residents of all denominations and faiths have access to resources to meet their spiritual needs. She will also provide oversight and recommendations to community-level spiritual leaders, advisors, and external clergy and chaplains to ensure our program of spirituality is creative and, above all, inclusive.
Sharell possesses an impressive skillset for developing and overseeing spirituality programs. She received her Master of Divinity degree from the Palmer Theological Seminary and her Master of Social Work degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She has a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice, liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies from Pennsylvania State University.
Sharell will be based out of HumanGood’s Lafayette, PA office.
