In October, the residents of Plymouth Village walked in style at the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Participants were thrilled to be involved. Resident Johnnie Mitchell even had her first ride on a shimmering gold Harley-Davidson motorcycle!
Since 2003, Plymouth Village has held Alzheimer’s Memory Walks and, according to Plymouth Village staff, the walks have an impact on not only the retirement community residents, but also on family members who deal with Alzheimer’s disease on a daily basis. This walk helps fund the association's mission - making a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer's. We are proud to promote awareness in our community!
