Resident Bob Larsen, a regular writer for Senior Correspondent, was recently featured on the national website with his story, The War Effort. A Nebraska native, the retired surgeon has retained an acute memory that feeds his yearning to record these stories that life has spawned.
In The War Effort, Bob discusses how World War II penetrated into the lives of everyone, young and old. It even reached into the small village in the Sand Hills of Nebraska where Bob lived. Our community will continue to be a contributor to this media company, celebrating the stories of older adults and enriching reporting.
