Valle Verde earned the top spot in the Santa Barbara News-Press 2017 Readers’ Choice Award for best retirement community.
For 24 years, the newspaper has asked its readers to vote for their favorites business and services providers in the community including the best in dining, shopping, outdoor adventures, entertainment, and much more.
“Winning this award is evidence of the confidence the Santa Barbara community has in us, and the confidence of the residents who call Valle Verde home,” says Executive Director Melissa Beth Honig. “It affirms the excellent service we provide residents and the broader Santa Barbara community.”
Since 1966, Valle Verde has been on the leading edge of senior living in Santa Barbara. It is one of 18 continuing care retirement communities (or life plan communities as they’re increasingly becoming known) within the HumanGood family.
