Senior Housing News recently featured Westminster Gardens in a story on the growing number of senior living communities taking on citizen journalism. The story highlights how our residents inform what’s happening around the community in their monthly newsletter called ‘Gleanings.’
In short, residents play a heavy hand in making the newsletter happen, Sales Director Bernadette Chang told Senior Housing News.
“There are usually a lot of puns and funny things in the newsletter, which makes it more fun to read,” Chang said. “The residents who are doing the reporting and creating the articles, they know what’s going on.”
