Why Hillcrest?
Hillcrest at Summitview assisted living has served the Yakima community for decades, first as part of the nonprofit senior living community Living Care, and now renamed as The Terraces at Summitview. We continue to be a nonprofit focused on providing excellent care and retaining committed, long-tenured team members. We are a mission-oriented nonprofit.
Our commitment to outstanding care has been rewarded with a reputation for excellence and frequent “Readers Choice” and “Best of the Valley” awards for assisted living.
For Hillcrest assisted living residents, there are benefits to being part of a larger senior community that also offers independent living and skilled nursing. Having a skilled nursing health center right on campus brings peace of mind knowing there are care options nearby if a serious illness or a need for rehabilitation following a hospital stay arises.
Being part of a broader community with independent living residents means our calendar of programs and opportunities for social engagement are more robust than most assisted living communities. And our more extensive, beautifully landscaped 10-acre campus offers enticements to get outdoors in our courtyards, walking paths and garden beds.
While our campus and community size are larger, we are proud of the small-town neighborhood feel and friendly culture we have created over the years. At Hillcrest at Summitview, team members and residents are a caring family.
